Sweet Black-Eyed Susan- Rudbeckia subtomentosa

This tough prairie plant will withstand just about everything. Even grows in clay or a little shade too.

From August to October, this 4-5 foot plant with deep green foliage has butter yellow bloom 3 inches across with reddish brown centers. In addition to it's pretty blooms is a pleasant fragrance.

Native bees, butterflies and other pollinators will also agree you made the right selection for your garden.
