Smooth Penstemon-Penstemon digitalis

Fall Interest
Help out the long tongue bees with the white tubular flowers of the Penstemon plant. Lots of blooms on the three foot tall plant. In mild winters the plant may remain semi-evergreen.

This plant will tolerate some shade and can also grow in heavier clay soils.
